Welcome to San Juan! For many years, I've been dreaming of opening a hospitality service and I fell in love with Puerto Rico: its welcoming atmosphere and sense of community, the breathtaking landscapes, the beautiful light and amazing architecture, combined with the food and entertainment scene, made it an obvious choice. This place is your gateway to:
Easy access to the airport & the rest of the island, including day trips to Fajardo and El Yunque National Forest.
Wolo Beach House
Wolo is the name I’ve wanted to give to my hospitality service. It stands for 'We Only Live Once' and reflects my passion for a healthy, fulfilled and enjoyable life. The beach house was bought in August 2016 and has been upgraded in January 2017. It is bathed in natural light, with high ceilings and great indoor and outdoor space. It is here to welcome you, make you feel at home and enjoy the comfort that you need during your break.
There are 2 separate apartments available for rental. Each are fully equipped and have their own private entrance and outdoor private space. One is on the 1st floor (2 bedroom, 4~7 people) and the other on the second floor (3 bedrooms, 6~9 people). The entire space can also be rented at once for larger groups of up to 16 people.
"My family and I were looking for a quiet place, with ample space, cleanliness, and lots of beach time. We found everything and more at Sophie's place. The four of us had plenty of space. Huge bedrooms, big comfy beds, big spacious areas to socialize - everything we needed to feel right at home. Sophie was kind enough to provide some boogie boards for the beach which was just a short 5 minute walk. Our boys loved it [...] Easy walks to the market and restaurants. [...] My family and I will certainly stay here on our next visit and this time will stay much longer so that we can enjoy the back yard patio and grill. Thank you for a great stay Sophie! Your hospitality really made our experience memorable. See you soon!"

Beaches near the house
There are 2 great beaches within walking distance of the house. A small quiet tree-lined beach which never gets crowded, 1.5 block from the house. And the Ocean Park beach, 4 minutes from the house, a locals’ favorite and one of the most famous beaches in the Caribbean.
Strong seasonal onshore winds make the area popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing. You will see plenty of kites on weekends! Surfing is also available at various locations along the North coast. Park Barbosa, which is right by the house, has a running track and is a great place to work out with a view facing the beach. It also has a basketball court, tennis courts and is the starting point for the cycle route that runs through San Juan.
